Course Description:
This course is suited to those that have a new digital SLR or for those switching from film cameras. This course is designed to help you become more confident in the use of your camera helping you realise more of its full potential.
The course takes a really hands on approach with lots of opportunities to ask questions.
Key areas covered are:
Shutter speed (focal length)
Aperture, (f/stops and DOF)
Programme and Manual modes
Basic white balance
ISO (speed and noise)
Hyperfocal lengths (relation to Aperture)
Fill in flash (pop up)
Auto focusing
Menu settings
Raw vs Jpeg.
Requirements:
Digital SLR camera with Lens, Tripod (optional),
Class size: 1 to 4 students
